Thank you for taking the time to visit the website of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Theta Omicron Lambda Chapter.  It is my distinct honor and pleasure to serve as the 2025-2027 President.

​

For more than six decades, our organization has been a cornerstone of the community, dedicated to unwavering selfless service. Theta Omicron Lambda has contributed to the quality of life for the community in various capacities.  These service activities have included sponsoring and supporting the March of Dimes, Special Population annual dance, mentors in schools, other civic organizations, Adopt A Highway Program, senior citizens programs, awarding college scholarships and so much more.

 As a result of the vision of its charter members, who recognized the need for affordable living for Wayne County citizens, the chapter purchased land and built a 104 unit complex called Alpha Arms Apartments.  Today the Brothers of Theta Omicron Lambda remain steadfast to the goals and objectives of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., principles of Manly Deeds, Scholarship and Love for all Mankind.  As we embrace our National Initiatives of Brother’s Keeper, A Voteless People is a Hopeless People, Go-to-High School, Go-to-College, and Project Alpha, we remain committed to the uplifting of humanity. 

 

    We hope that our efforts to assist the Goldsboro/Wayne County citizens exemplify service to mankind and embrace our motto, “First of All, Servants of All, We shall Transcend All,”  as we continue  to serve the community and uplift future generations.
